Weekly Wrap-up 2008_29

The weather was foggy and cooler this week, at least in the mornings.

I watched a pigeon building a nest in the wall of the building next door to our favorite diner. She'd found a gap in the screening (screening meant to, erm, keep out pigeons :) and was bringing bits of twig. I hope the man who runs the store next door doesn't notice and get the screen repaired.

My TWiki Twitter Reader is working offline, copied to the laptop. I read Twitter "back issues" on the train.

I had to tweak some settings the first morning but all was for the afternoon.

The first issue of the dept newsletter went out this week via email at the Job.It had 146 gif attachments (2.2 Mb). Gack.

We started putting this thing together on May 30. I've lately taken to calling it the "zombie albatross".

Veterinary dentist visit this week. One of the kitties has gingivitis in the upper front gums. (why do we call those "canine" teeth? He's a cat!)

With luck, we can save the teeth. Next appt is Aug. 6,

This week I read Twitter (:-). I'm also reading a Donald Westlake "Dortmunder" book.

In between and around the rest, I've had nearly enough naps and oodles of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends. I've chatted with my sister and found topics to twitter.

Onward and Upward.
