Treasures 2008_24

The moon smiles in the heavens, and quietly hides all our tomorrows like a secret. But ordinary moments bring their promises, for beauty and warmth are found in single moments of time.

These are my Treasures for the past fortnight.

  • Another customer at the diner was served a scrumptious-looking waffle with strawberries and a small Matterhorn of whipped cream. Oooooo.

  • 3 ravens in our backyard, flapping from tree to tree. Bebop was entranced.

  • My co-worker's Squishable hedgehog

  • Jacaranda trees in bloom in a wash of purple

  • As of Thursday afternoon, two years on this Job. Wow.

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.
