Treasures 2008_15
how futile it can be to seek happiness.
Rather, happiness is a blessing that comes to you as you go along;
a treasure that you incidentally find.
- Louis Binstock
These are my Treasures for the past fortnight.
- Squirrel making a tummy on Rich's desk, head under the monitor shelf, all upside down and fluffy. Rich says he does this a lot. I asked "How do you work?" Apparently it's difficult...(Rub the tummy!)
- A splendiferous magenta rhododendron
- Wait Until Midnight a recent book by Amanda Quick. Fun!
- The white lilac is blooming
- After the vet visit... such a snuggly, affectionate Bebop.
- white pelicans, circling in formation. Wow!
- huge artichokes.nearly 6" in diameter.
- The owl hooting in the tree across the street
Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.
