Weekly Wrap-up 2008_05

The weather was wet. During a brief non-rainy period, Rich cleaned out the roof gutters with the pressure washer. Strange noises. Cats were not amused.

I looked in the Camry for Rich's misplaced rain hat. I didn't find the hat but I did find 2 inches of standing water in the back. Ugh. Pump and mop.

I worked up a presentation in TWiki using the SlideShow Plugin. Cool. One of my co-workers said "Eek! There's PowerPoint in the TWiki!" (But it's not. :)

2008 Birthdaycake

I took a Personal Holiday this week for my birthday. I spent the day reading a book and snuggling cats.

After dinner we stopped at Mollie Stones and bought me a small (4") cake with hotpink frosting, a yellow icing ribbon around the top edge, a purple icing squiggle around the bottom, and orange icing florets on top. The Perfect Birthday Cake.

Company All-Hands meeting on Wednesday morning. I walked over, looked in the door of the cafeteria (where it was being held), turned around, and walked back across the street to my desk. Too Many People. What phobia is that?

Maybe a bit of claustrophobia. Not really agoraphobia. My sister suggests tactilemaldermaphobia. (She made that one up in College).

Hmmm... Demophobia and Enochlophobia are Fear of Crowds.

This week I read Challenges and Betrayals, by Sharon Green.

In between and around the rest, I've had nearly enough naps and oodles of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends. I've chatted with my sister and found topics to twitter.

Onward and Upward.
