Weekly Wrap-up 2007_49

I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December
A magical thing
And sweet to remember.

'We are nearer to Spring
Than we were in September'
I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December.

Oliver Herford

It's been chillier. Rich suggested I might want to look at getting an electric blanket. So we went down to Target and found a nice one. I only need a twin-sized (just for me, not for the whole bed). Yum.

I've been turning it on a couple of hours before I go to bed. It makes the sheets nice and warm. We went to Barnes & Noble this week. Oooh. Lots of books are published in November. :-)

Company re-org this week. Blech! Bad News. Demoralizing.

Rich's Company Holiday Party was Friday night. We went. They had yams with marshmallow topping and really good cranberry relish. The turkey was OK, once I piled it with cranberry. :-)

This week we watched The Great Train Robbery on DVD. We also watched Ratatouille — high squeaky voice cute! I want to hug and squeeze the rats.

In between and around the rest, I've had nearly enough naps and oodles of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends. I've chatted with my sister and found topics to twitter.

Onward and Upward.
