Weekly Wrap-up 2007_46

Some rain this week. More fog.

Note: A king-sized bed will hold 2 humans and 3 cats but the comfort of the humans depends on the order of who gets into bed first and lies where. When one of the cats gets there first and lies diagonally across the center...

I launched my new weblog, Snibbles.

My sister and I have been playing "Free Rice". My sister got "begird". She said: "I'm surprised that ostensibly, abstinent and bailiwick were all the same level as begird. I use the others; I've never heard 'begird'". Me neither.

I alternate between levels 45 and 44. A lot of the words at level 45 are... odd.

My sister says "You get to use your Greek and Latin roots a lot! (oh, boy, do you). She said "I asked a co-worker, 'Do you ever use your Greek and Latin roots?' and he just stared at me."

I had a weird dream this week. Someone had been to a party where I was and when she left she took one of her boots and one of mine by mistake. I was trying to call her and get the boot back and the maid came in to vacuum. The maid didn't speak English and kept following me with the noisy vaccuum

I finally I reached down and started flipping switches trying to shut off the vaccuum. Lots of switches; none of them shut it off

Frustrating week at The Job. I want to put up a separate TWiki, starting with, essentially, a clone of the standard corp. installation (minus the data). It shouldn't be this difficult.

Everything always takes longer and costs more :-(

This week I read Mystique, a historical romance by Amanda Quick and Midnighters: Blue Noon, third in the Midnighters trilogy by Scott Westerfeld. (There needs to be a fourth book!)

In between and around the rest, I've had nearly enough naps and oodles of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends. I've chatted with my sister and found topics to twitter.

Onward and Upward.
