Weekly Wrap-up 2007_37

The weather was nice. Windy. Cool. Sunny and Blue.

My group at the Job moved last Friday so Monday was move-in day. Confusion, chaos, and noise. I'm SO glad I didn't have to move.

The new "bullpen" areas are large, open, and suboptimal. I feel sorry for the people who are in one of them. (Some people like it; that's ok. But some really don't and that's not good.)

I had a nifty dream Monday night about some "robotic" stuffy toys. Kind of like Pleo will be but soft and squishy too. There was a moose and an alligator and I don't remember what else. Also some radio-controlled birds.

That segued into a different dream in which I was telling my sister about the dream with the robotic stuffy toy moose.

The UPS truck drove up at a bit after 9pm on Wednesday night to deliver the inflatable bed Rich had ordered for the guestroom. Long day for UPS!

The bed has an integrated motor and blower, similar to a vacuum cleaner but not quite as loud. Bebop stayed in the living room while it inflated. He was... concerned. He was very wary and quite intent. He never took his eyes off of the motor but his ears swiveled this way and that!

After the noise stopped, the cats investigated the new Thing.

I've started using Twitter. More on that tomorrow.

This week I read Shattered, by Dick Francis. We watched a few more Remington Steele and The Dresden Files episodes on DVD.

In between and around the rest, I've had almost enough naps and plenty of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends. I've had a few chats with my sister.

Onward and Upward.
