Weekly Wrap-up 2007_30

The weather was foggy. It's been a very foggy July.

There was another "incident" with CalTrain on Monday morning. We sat at Menlo Park for 20-30 minutes. We made it to Mtn View but after that I saw the train go north instead of south.

There are far too many of these "incidents". There has to be something we can do to keep people away from the tracks.

I've been watching carefully for mousies at the station in the afternoon. They're very cute, very small, and very fast.

Our monthly techie dinner went well this month. Good pizza and 9 people.

I have a new manager at The Job... Our first meeting was... educational? Different. Unexpected. Odd.

This week I read My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding, a delightful collection edited by P.N. Elrod. I also finished Elantris, an excellent debut fantasy novel by Brandon Sanderson.

In between and around the rest, I've had almost enough naps and plenty of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends. I've had a few chats with my sister.

Onward and Upward.
