Treasures 2007_21

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words. These are my Treasures for the past week.

• My very best friend, Richard.

• A great lunch - a BLT on whole grain oat bread. The bread was perfect. The bacon was crispy. The company was good.

• Bebop, shining golden in a sunbeam

• 1 Republika Pilipinas Piso in my change. It cost me one US quarter.

• our front door lock, recently lubricated; the key turns so smoothly now

• a good nap, surrounded by purring fur
