Weekly Wrap-up 2007_07

The weather was springy. Springs can be wet. The weekend was warmish and lovely.

Work has been... work. Other than that, nothing I want to share publicly...

Our local Japanese restaurant serves a delightful plum wine - it's Kikoman. We searched several stores and finally found one that carries it.

Oooooh! More rumors that Apple will have a sub-notebook computer this spring/summer. I want one.

This week I read Murder Checks Inn, Room for Murder, and A Pour Way to Dye, all by Tim Myers. I also finished Some Danger Involved, an excellent mystery by Will Thomas, set in Victorian London.

A friend lent me an Eddie Izzard DVD, Dress to Kill. Eddie Izzard is a Very Funny British comedian. His language is a bit "blue" but I'll put up with it for everything else. His delivery is terrific and his facial expressions are something you have to see (I feel sorry for the peop;le in the audience who don't get to see that part). This DVD was filmed at a live concert in San Francisco.

In between and around the rest, I've had almost enough naps and plenty of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends. I've had mail from my mother - it's been SNOWING in Pennsylvania. Shivver.

Onward and Upward.
