Weekly Wrap-up 2006_42

The weather was nice and Octobery.

This was my second week telecommuting two days. Two lower-stress days each week. Delightful.

Rich's new contract started this week. For the first few weeks, he'll be driving down to Redwood City most days. Eventually, he should be able to work from home a lot.

This was my last week as a contractor. Next week I'll be an FTE. So I took Thursday and Friday off.

We got our flu shots. Have you had yours?

Given that this year I'm not only working but commuting by train, I figure a flu shot wos a Good Idea.

This week I read Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure, by Dave Gorman. This was more interesting and much funnier than I expected. I recommend it.

I also read Death Climbs a Tree, by Sarah Hoskinson Frommer. Interesting plot.

I ordered the first season of Remington Steele on DVD (22 episodes). It arrived early this week and we've been watching. They're great fun.

In between and around the rest, I've had almost enough naps and plenty of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends.

Onward and Upward.
