Weekly Wrap-up 2006_25

The weather was warm this week, with two Spare The Air days on Thursday and Friday. The first three Spare The Air days of the summer are "free transit" days so I saved money on riding the train.

This was my second week at the Job. I like the people. The lunches are good. I'm still using Windoze. The commute takes too much out of me.

On Sunday, Rich and I drove into the City to pick up a flat-panel LCD monitor Rich was buying. Then we wandered around the Conservatory of flowers at Golden Gate Pak. They're doing a special exhibit on butterflies through October. It's rather neat walking around a small room with butterflies fluttering by at eye level.

Rich gave our gargoyle one final coat of paint and put him back in his spot guarding the driveway.

I've been using Google Notebook as well as Yahoo Calendar and Yahoo Notepad, the former for personal stuff and the latter two for the Job. I prefer Google Notebook to Yahoo Notepad.

This week I read Inferior Design by Leslie Caine.

In between and around the rest, I've had not nearly enough naps and plenty of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends.

Onward and Upward.
