Weekly Wrap-up 2006_09

Talk about March coming in like a lion. February ended with lots of rain, gusty wind, and some hail (and lightning!). The rest of the week was variable but usually cool and greyish.

It's been a very quiet and uneventful week. I keep applying for jobs. No calls or interviews as yet. :-(

In the News: Jupiter is growing a new red spot.

If you think science is cool, take a look at Cool Science, a portal site with links to "Insanely Great Science Websites".

This week I read Hasty Death, the second Edwardian cozy by Marion Chesney and Death at Blenhiem Palace by Robin Paige (#11 in the Charles and Kate Sheridan Series; also set in the Edwardian era).

In non-fiction, I read Weaving the Web by Tim Berners-Lee (interesting). Finally, I finished Beyond the Blue Moon by Simon Green (good fantasy)..

In between and around the rest, I've had almost enough naps and plenty of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends. I've had a few chats with my Dad and exchanged email with my Mom.

Onward and Upward.
