Weekly Wrap-up 2006_03
The weather was mostly fair, although we did have some rain in the middle of the week.
I've been trying to remember to use the stepper machine. I've got an alarm set to remind me once an hour during the day. I've made it to 100 steps several times now before going all rubbery.
I took my keyboard apart and cleaned it this week. It's amazing how much cat hair and gedunge gets into a keyboard over time. I popped all of the keys off, then Rich scrubbed it, then I put the keys back on.
I've discovered upcoming.org. It's an events calendaring site. Events can be subscribed to using other apps (they're in iCalendar format).
I set up a page for the San Francisco Perl Users Group where we will be able to post upcoming meetings.
I also installed, and started to play with, Media Wiki (the wiki behind wikipedia), as well as a web-based implementation of GTD called gtd-php.
This week I read Mourning Wedding, the 13th Daisy Dalrympl mystery by Carola Dunn; Click Here for Murder and Access Denied, the next two Turing Hopper mysteries by Donna Andrews; and The Burglar in the Library, a Bernie Rhodenbarr mystery by Lawrence Block.
In between and around the rest, I've had almost enough naps and plenty of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends. I've had a few chats with my Dad and exchanged email with my Mom.
Onward and Upward.
