Treasures 2006_02

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words. These are my Treasures for the past week.

  • A rainbow on a sprizzly day

  • A woman in the Post Office with a faux fur handbag (all it needed were googly eyes :-)

  • The grocery store checker's lilt, as she counted back my ATM cash - twainty fairty sixty ...

  • A large (working) clock face, projected onto the sidewalk in front of a jewelry shop

  • Three life-sized bronze "no evil" monkeys on a bronze park bench in front of a shop in SF

  • Ripe tomatoes with feta and olive oil

  • A car, license plate WWW ETC

  • A small child in a Blue's Clues hoodie (complete with eyes on the top and floppy ears)
