Weekly Wrap-up 2005_50

Yeeps. 2005 is winding to a close.

The weather was highly variable this week. It started out overcast, turned sunny for three days in the middle, then started to drizzle on Saturday morning. It finished up with a solid day and a half of rain.

My cough seems to be pretty much gone. Finally!

With both of us unemployed, we've been trying to save money by staying home and (egad) cooking. So, lots of turkey sandwiches. Lots of soup. re we tired of soup.

Rich had a Ruby language "meet-up" on Tuesday night. I decided to give this one a miss.

Rich also had a job interview this week. We don't know yet how it went...

This week I read two books by Kasey Michaels, Maggie by the Book and Maggie Without a Clue. These are sequels to Maggie Needs an Alibi. All three are light, fun mysteries.

I also read books #5-#8 in the "Home Repair is Homicide" mystery series by Sarah Graves: Repair to Her Grave, Wreck the Halls, Unhinged, Mallets Aforethought (love the title :-), and Tool & Die. Book #9 is due out in January (in hardcover).

In between and around the rest, I've had almost enough naps and plenty of snuggles with the cats. There have been good meals and interesting conversations with Spouse and friends. I've had a few chats with my Dad and exchanged email with my Mom. I also purchased (thanks Dad!) a copy of Apple Remote Desktop so I can now "see" what's on my Dad's computer when he has a question. :-)

Onward and Upward.
