Treasures 2005_36

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words. These are my Treasures for the past week.

  • Woodrats scampering on the sunroom roof, running up and down the window screens. One woodrat in the screen again. He didn't mind the flashlight and he was oh so cute with big ears.

  • Roast pork sandwiches with tomato and red onion

  • Garlic

  • Another four-day work week.

  • Tree squirrels noshing at the feeder.

  • Kitties!
    • Bebop sogged into a lap.

    • Squirrel plaintively reminding me that it's snack time.

    • Wrestling with Raven - whappatta, bitebite, fang, gnash

    • Finding Mezzaluna (peek-a-boo)

  • Hot cocoa at bedtime — a surprise treat prepared by my sweetie.

  • My new G5, running Tiger — once again, a stable system!

  • The invention of the automatic dishwasher (with the excellent enhancement of a delayed-start timer!)

  • Dark chocolate M&Ms (Mmmmmmm :-)

  • A trip to the bookstore. Lots of new books by authors we know we like.
