Treasures 2005_20

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words. These are my Treasures for the past week.

  • Listening to the scamper of woodrat feet on the sunroom roof; Bebop was intrigued!

  • Several pretty days in a row (after rain and fog earlier in the week).

  • Gray squirrels espied at the seed feeder for several ornings. There were two together at lunchtime Friday.

  • Working from home!

  • Working on a small data filter (programming) project. I do like to program; I just like it better when it's not "my job description".

  • One grey squirrel deciding to cross the front of the screenporch under the windows. Mezzaluna saw him! Scrabble scrabble scrabble!

  • An extra snuggle wwith Squirrel on a Saturday morning.

  • Fun With Cats on Saturday morning. Raven decided to chase Squirrel down the hall and I decided to chase them both! When they got to the end of the hallway, Raven split off to the right and the living room; Squirrel split off to the left into Rich's office.

  • Discovering a newly opened Vista Point, nicely landscaped, overlooking the ocean.

  • The almost-full moon on the breaking waves

  • iCal shared calendars. These are really fun!

  • Bebop sitting on my desk. Pet me. Love me. Pay attention to the kitty!

  • A giant inflatable "Orchard Supply Hardware beaver" on the roof of a "Grand Opening" new OSH store. Very cute. I told Rich I want one but we agreed that he'd blow off our roof and sail away (and probably take the shingles with him!)

  • Folk Manis puppets (http://www.puppetjungle.com/folkmanispuppets.htm)

  • Willy Claflin and Maynard Moose at the Bay Area Storytelling festival. We're great fans :-) Meeting Maynard Moose "in person" at this show (I petted his nose :-)
