Treasures 2004_46

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.

These are my Treasures for the past week.

• Krispy Kreme pumpkin spice cake donuts - the only KK donut flavor I can stand. They aren't nearly as thickly glazed (only slightly like a donut should be) and they have a nice spicy pumpkin cake flavor.
• Sunbeams slanting through the eucalyptus trees
• Raccoons on the back porch. "Talking" to them through the sliding door glass, then going upstairs and feeding them dog biscuits, peanuts, and (yummmmm) marshmallows!
• A cinnamon scented car when I drove home Wednesday afternoon! A co-worker purchased two loaves of cinnamon bread for me and I had them in my car all day. Fresh cinnamon bread is a great "air freshener".
• Two slices of cinnamon toast ;-)
• Chatting with a friend on line
• Introducing Rich to various co-workers at the Company potluck dinner and seeing him enjoying several conversations. Good food (at the Company potluck). Pumpkin walnut chocolate chip cookies, "turtle bars", yummy juicy dark meat of turkey, a nifty salad with cranberries and almonds, my own cranberry fruit jello...
• A large, inflatable, "SpongeBob SquarePants" sitting on the roof of the Burger King.
• Cats    >^,,^<
• Friday!
