Treasures 2004_41

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words,

I hope you'll consider starting your own list of Treasures. These are my Treasures for the past week.

  • Reading at night, surrounded by furry feline couch pillows
  • I got my new registration from the DMV allowing me to (finally) put my HTR CATS plates on the Scion.
  • Giving Raven tummy rubs (wooga wooga)
  • Raven sneaking up behind me while I'm typing, strecthing up and putting both paws on my back. Mwrp?
  • A pretty, blue day - not too warm, not too cold
  • Raven pattypatting at my hand from between the posts of the railing along the stairs.
  • Falling asleep with Mezzaluna lying on my chest.
  • Seeing a new bird (a really neat bright yellow and black bird). \On one of my walks around the block I saw the cutest little bird. He was bright yellow with black stripes. He looked a lot like a bright yellow sparrow. I looked him up in the Bird book when I got home. I think he was what's called a "Townsend's warbler". He flew into a bush and I looked in at him. He was maybe 6 or 8 feet away. Wow.
