Treasures 2004_37
"Life ... is haphazard and full of beauties which I try to catch as they fly by, for who knows whether any of them will ever return?"-- Margot Fonteyn
Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words,
I hope you'll consider starting your own list of Treasures. These are my Treasures for the past week.
- Baked egg yolk buns, coconut jello and other yummy treats at Dim Sum
- Fun at the Millbrae Craft Fair on Labor Day weekend
- A nifty (and much needed) cat-patterend visor from the Visor Lady ( http://www.visorlady.com/ )
- Great t-shirts by John Conroy ( http://www.cooolshirts.com/ )
- Green Jeans Garden Supply in Mill Valley- they have a giant (green, of course) praying mantis on the roof of one building, a huge lady bug on another
- A good save on dinner - the restaurant we drove over 60 miles to eat at was closed on Labor Day but we found something else not too far away and we were happy.
- Tuesday morning's sunrise
- A long weekend, followed by a short work week
- A good game of Bonanza with the folks
- Leaving work early to spend some time with my parents
- A man with a blue Scion XB, license plate "NISE BOX"
- Lovely weather, even if it does carry a feeling of Autumn
- 4:30 on Friday afternoon; at 4:30 I can go home!
