Treasures 2004_18

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, that make me feel happy or thankful or interested. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words,

I hope you'll consider starting your own list of Treasures. If you enjoy this sort of thing, take a look at the participation positives web ring.

These are my Treasures for the past week.

  • Today's vetdokter appointment - Raven's and Bebop's annual checkups. Both boys are in good shape and the vet loves their cute feet.
  • Raven's first anniversary. He's bouncy trouncy flouncy pouncy fun fun fun fun fun! But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is he's the only one!
  • I had a job interview. I thought it went very well; I hope the folks on the other side of the table thought so too!
  • A raccoon at the feeder last night, so cute! He walked over and lay on the porch rail, looking in the window at me. Such a nice face, such a lovely mask. He had such difficult reeaaching into the feeder for the corn, I slipped a cob out the door onto the porch for him!
  • A grey squirrel at the feeder this morning, munching sunflower seeds while our Squirrel watched and chirped. Both of them have such creamy tummies.
  • Dog ears, in this case very large perky dog ears, attached to the handsome white doggie in the car behind me at a stoplight. I think it may have been a White German Shepherd.
  • A job. I have been offered a job. It's a 6-week contract to start, with a possibility of extension. It sounds like a good match for both my skills AND interests, it's only 2 miles from my house, and they'll let me use a Mac! How great is that?
  • Waking next to Bebop, tight against my side, lying on his back, woolly tummy in a perfect position for rubbing. Such a nice way to wake up.
