Treasures 2004_12

Treasures are positive things that strike my fancy, things that make me feel happy or thankful or interested, things that are worth remembering. Treasures are memories encapsulated in just a few words.

I gather my treasures throughout the week. Please feel free to start your own lists of Treasures on your own weblog or here in the comments.

My treasures for the past week include

  • The White Lilac is in bloom! Oh how I love to bury my face in lilacs and inhale.
  • An email note from Myra Watanabe (wife of Peter Brazaitis, author of the book "You Belong in a Zoo", and the excerpt, "On the Loose" that I read first in Readers Digest). What fun to get a note from her! She was commenting on my "Dream Interpretations" weblog entry.
  • Wisteria - floppy poofy purple blossoms, on a fence next to a house I drove past
  • Four huge blossoms on the baby magnolia tree down the street
  • A stunning blue twilight, with 2 stars (one NW, one SE) and hints of green to the north.
  • Discovering yet another person who tracks "Treasures"; she calls hers "Good Things" and recently decided to draw them!
  • Camellias
  • Spring perfume!
  • Our new floor; I still love it!
  • The various mailing lists I'm a member of; I really enjoy the discussions.
  • People playing my web memes / word games, not just that they play but their responses make me smile.
