Sweet Pickled Peppers
The other night at Chili's restaurant, Rich and I were served a garnish of sweet pickled jalapeno peppers with our hamburger. Yum!We're familiar with the pickled jalapenos in Mexican restaurants but these were different, darker green and sweet. So, a few days later, Rich contacted Chili's to find out if we could buy some.
After a few false starts, we reached someone who understood our request and had the Power to Say Yes. We were able to purchase a small "take-out tub" (about 10 oz) of peppers for a very reasonable price.
Look for "sweet & spicy jalapenos" at your nearest Chili's. Not too hot, not too sweet. Very nice.
