Cinnamon Bread

Greenlee's Bakery, in San Jose CA makes the Best Cinnamon Bread (an opinion shared by many people). And, I've learned that Greenlee's Cinnamon bread is available by mail order! Yumm.

I was initially unhappy about the $16 shipping charge for four loaves of bread. But then I realized three important things:

• Each loaf weighs 1.75 lb. 4 loaves, 7 lb. That's a heavy box.
• They ship UPS to guarantee faster delivery door to door
• I could drive down to San Jose. That's 50 miles each way; I get approx. ~28mpg, Gas is just under $4/gallon. Then I have to park. That would cost... about $16. More if I factor in the hour and a half I would spend.

Duh. Shipping charges are very reasonable, I think.
