Vicki's Dragon

Dragons scare me half to death,
With tail and claws and fiery breath.
They used to capture young ladies, fair
And hold them prisoners in their lair.
But Knights and Heros, in their zest
To rescue damsels, did their best
At charged each dragon that came in view,
Until at last there were very few.

But time has changed this fearsome beast.
He's grown quite small, and kind of neat.
With many colors, his coat's an art,
But there's more he'll need to do his part.
He'll still need fiery breath and tail,
If, to this job, he would prevail.
For Vicki's placed him, as her charm
To keep her power-book from harm.
