We have upgraded cfcl to a 2.1 GHz Celeron with 1 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, we were forced to disable DMA on the ATA controller, so the disk I/O speed is not what it should be. As soon as we find a way to resolve this issue, we will.
Meanwhile, the system seems to be performing quite acceptably. Compute-bound tasks run about seven times faster than they did before. As always, let us (cfcl@cfcl.com) know about any problems you encounter.
