I'm Puppy Sitting

I'm puppy sitting for some friends for a few days.

The puppy is naughty and bitey and scratchy.

He's cute and only weighs about 3 or 5 pounds.

He has sharp little teeth and sharp little toenails and he put a run in my hose this morning.

He doesn't eat his food when you put it in the bowl - he pounces at a piece of food and will eat it if you put it in his mouth.

He wants to be on your lap until you put him on your lap and then he wants down.

He likes to be held so he can see himself in the mirror.

The doggie door seems HUGE and he doesn't know what it is yet (I may try the doggie door tonite...).

He bites your toes - which is funny and cute the first time but not funny and cute (and ouch) the second, third, eleventh time.

He races around and shakes his toys and then he falls asleep.

He cries in the middle of the night. I need a white noise machine. If I wore earplugs, would I hear my alarm?

Remind me that I like "already established" dogs. Remind me what it's like to have a puppy if I ever say "Oh, I'm getting a puppy!!".

Did I mention that he's cute?
