P is For ...
Peaches - Fresh peaches are one of my favorite seasonal fruits. Our local grocery store buys the most incredible peaches - huge but juicy and delicious.
Peanut Butter - Especially on toast. Crunchy is best, I think. We buy the "natural" kind, without stabilizers.
Pears - I love pears. A few years ago we discovered Comice pears. They are as tasty (or tastier) than Bartletts and they ripen better than Bartletts without going bad in the center.
Pecans - Possibly my favorite kind of nut.
Pennsylvania - The state where I was born and raised. I lived in PA until I was 22.
Perl - My programming language of choice since 1995. It has elements of Unix shell, awk, and C, as well as some "unique features" all its own.
Poppy - My first all-my-own kitty and the cat I grew up with. Poppy was a brown stripey girl with tan spots and a sweet disposition. She liked to lick my eyelids.
Presbyopia - Presbyopia is a visual condition in which loss of elasticity of the lens of the eye causes defective accommodation and inability to change focus easily. It generally happens after age 40. For me, I think it started the day after my 40th birthday. If I could magic away one physical trait, it would be presbyopia. .
Plus... - P is also for Ponder, Pink, Pine, Popcorn, Penguin, Poltergeist, Popover, Placid, Penultimate, Phantasm, Pooka, Palisades, Pegasus, Poodle, and Pumpkin.
