Bath Remodel

In 2000, we ripped out the master bath and rebuilt it. (We also tore up the first-floor bath, my daughter's bedroom ,the first-floor hallway, and the master closet.) In any event, here are photos and details about the master bath itself.

(lookin in)

Looking in through the door.

(tub wall)

A view from the same point, looking at the wall behind the tub.

(small glass wall)

A little closer view of the small glass-block wall. The small one mirrors the stepped style of the larger one, while providing a slight separation of the toilet and tub. It's more the illusion of privacy, since it's small and transparent, but it serves to provide for a visual separation. And a bather isn't looking at the toilet...

(stepped tile detail)

The stepped wall tile mirrors the stepped glass walls.

(door detail)

Looking back at the door from the toilet position. The glass is glue-chip obscured glass for privavy. It matches the glue-chip glass in the shower window and exterior window.

(sink)

Looking at the sink area while standing in the entry of the shower. That's an exterior window. The sink and counters are from Swanstone; the cabinet was custom-built by the counter fabricator.

(shower)

A view of the shower, standing with my back to the exterior window. The shower head is on the far right wall. You can just barely see the chrome pipe at the top right.
